Union for Merit and Career in Agriculture and Forestry was established on May 2, 2025, upon submitting its Charter to the Ankara Governorship. Subsequently, the Ministry of Labour and Social Security opened File No. 495 for our Trade Union.
Our Union operates in the field of Agriculture and Forestry Services. Pursuant to Law No. 4688 on Public Servants’ Trade Unions and Collective Bargaining, our Union organizes within public institutions and organizations falling under the Agriculture and Forestry Services branch and carries out trade union activities concerning the services provided by these institutions and organizations.
Our Union aims to protect and advance the common economic, social, and professional rights and interests of its members; foster mutual solidarity and cooperation among members; develop solutions to promote effective, efficient, career-oriented, and merit-based practices in public administration; and, in accordance with democratic principles and with due regard for the indivisible unity of our State with its country and nation, national sovereignty, human rights, and the principles of the rule of law, contribute to the implementation of measures that enhance the welfare of public employees, as well as to the establishment and maintenance of social and industrial peace.
